Words of Thanks

We would like to share some of the kind words that we have received from those we have touched through our foundation:

Dear Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation,

I want to say thank you for all the hard work you put in to make events for the foundation a success.  Each year an event gets better and better and I am prouder and prouder.  Your hard work and giving nature puts smiles on the faces of many.  There is so much I wish I could beve back to you because you have given me and my children more thatn you know.  I consider you my family not because of the things you have given but what you give of yourself as people.  I read a quote somewhere and I am not sure how it goes;  but the gist of it is this:  each person represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.  Thank you for opening up a whole new world to me.  I love and appreciate your dedication and support and I am honored to be able to know you all!

Dear Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation,

I truly enjoy working with the RWSNF team.  You all are built on love and the true desire to help and it shows everyday!

Thanks again,

Donna Tyler - 04’-05’ Mom

Dear Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation,

I just wanted to say thanks for being a good friend to me.  It’s not often that you find special people who are genuine.  Thanks to RWSNF for being there for me.

I have a question for the Foundation and its Committee

Are you aware of the major impact that you have made in my sons and my life?  You guys are God's Angels on Earth.

J. D., I remember coming into the office one afternoon in the center of a decision that would change my life forever, either way.  I was weighing my options against, good living conditions verses tests and trials but walking into my dream.  You encouraged me to go after my dream.  Look at me now.  I am living my dream in ways I never would have imagined.

Brother Roy, I can’t thank you enough for being so selfless and putting the desires of others first.  For being a Man of God and providing us single women hope in helpless times and situations.

Also, I’d like to bring to your attention, representing Women of Black History, Ms. Masselyn Lusk.  Masselyn, you have been there for me making phone calls, pulling strings and giving words of encouragement right along with the fellas.

The Roy Williams SafetyNet Foundation is one of the very best things that has ever become of me.  I am so delighted to experience the joy, love, living of life with the TEAM and the single mothers.  I never want our fellowship to end.  Once you’re in, you’re in, right?

My favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you…”

To raise boys with a Christian up bringing and have positive male role models in my corner is a blessing in itself.  I am a Christian, a single parent, a toddler teacher and I am exploding with JOY in my heart.  Even if everyday is a struggle, if I can help somebody else (just like you guys have done), I know everything will be okay and the journey will be well worth it.

I just want you to know that I LOVE YOU, Bro. Roy, J.D and Masselyn, Miranda, Allison (just to name a few) and to tell you Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for all that you do.  Enjoying the Lords’ Blessings
